Sorry for the late alert, but in spite of the return of Nascar SpeedTV has BTCC and DTM on their schedule for today.

BTCC is set for 1:00PM (EST) and DTM at 2:00PM(EST).

But, don't get too excited as TVRacer.com has Nascar qualifying listed for a 1-4PM airing in contradiction with its' same schedule that includes both touring car races.

My money is on Nascar clogging the tube, but I'll at least try to watch some of it.

Watching DTM right now. They sure bang around a lot considering the cars are clearly not built for it.

Of course, the downside to seeing this on american TV is that it only encourages idiots to stick a bunch of silly flaps and handles to the back of their sedans.

Those are some very interesting Audis and MBs. Where can I find some info on the builds of those?

I love, love the BTCC especially the last race at Rockingham aired at 1 on Speed...watched it on DVR after digging my car out of 2 feet of snow (I live in DC). I personally prefer BTCC over DTM due to the variety of the manufacturers on BTCC and the cars on BTCC look more like normal car than the Audi And Merc on DTM. I think DTM is getting boring like the WRC due to the number of manufacturers involved...anyhow, what the heck is Chevy Lacetti? I know Top Gear uses this for their star in a reasonably priced car but other than that I don't know much about this car. Is this based off a Daewoo? It looks almost similar to the Suzuki Forenza. I know the BMWs on BTCC have some ballast weight added but damn those chevys are fast...having good driver like Jason Plato doesn't hurt either...

Actually, all cars in BTCC are subject to ballast weight additions. How much weight is determined on finishing position.
