In reply to CrustyRedXpress (Forum Supporter) Very good advice and I know and trust my co-driver quite well. Other than an empty collection or museum, I would not do anything indoors right now. Of course, I can't go ten days and just eat McDonalds drive through either.

I'm 45 minutes south of Flagstaff and as jr02518 said:

You should check out the Lowell Observatory in Flagstaff,  AZ.  Grand Canyon is a good half day site. and you could camp nearby.

Gas up in Gallup before you hit higher prices in AZ.

Food-wise, when I road trip I check out the Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives site. Yeah he is pretty corny but the places I've stopped at were pretty good.

So if nothing else that no one has commented on is where along the way to film an Ep of barn find hunters along the way with the two of you and a camera doing some digging along the way for old cars. How many of the GRM family of nut jobs have cars that would be on the show that are sitting around their yard. You have the man, the myth, the legend that is joining for a road trip. You to do something with him for cars in yards. It's cheap and you will have an old car on the trailer to use for an In to chat with people. Keeping away from people is easy for more than 10 feet.

You can either get on with living your life or hang around waiting for regret to catch you.  

If you have this chance and don't do it, regret will find you sooner.
