How would you like an inside look at cars that make up the Rolex 24 at Daytona weekend? BimmerWorld has again offered to host us for a garage tour. We'll get to see their Continental Tire Challenge cars and, just maybe, meet a driver or two.
On Saturday, January 10 at 11:30 a.m., we'll meet at the stage located across from the Budweiser Bistro. The Budweiser Bistro is located in the Sprint Fanzone, which is kinda behind the pits.
After gathering up everyone, we'll head to the BimmerWorld garage at noon. Figure we'll be there about an hour.
After the garage visit, we can head back to the Budweiser Bistro for lunch. If anyone wants to cruse around together, we can do that after we eat.
To attend, you only need access to the Roar Before the Rolex. There's no extra cost to do the paddock tour with us.
I'll bring some Grassroots Motorsports stickers, too, since I know a guy there.
Today was breakfast with our local PCA group. We might add a few more things to the schedule for that day. I'll post details once I know more.
