I'm a bit torn this year on who to cheer for. Brumos are the trophy holders from last years championship (plus you can't ask for nicer guys than Keen and Davis), perennial favorite Andy Lally is driving the Magnus car, and Flying Lizards are back with MIKE FREAKIN ROCKENFELLER!

The 458s are sexy AND quick. I'm rooting for Waltrip-AF racing, but Risi looks like they brought a super stacked driver lineup.
yeah the R8 boys have a lot of work to get on pace. They are not even close to being on pace

Yeah, wow, what a weekend. I talked to a ton of teams, and it sounds like everyone is looking forward to the Rolex. The fields are big, and the competition runs deep. (DP is a bit thinner than the other classes, but it's looking like it's going to a tight, fast race up front.)
Nice to see new manufacturers, too. I hear that there will be more club corrals than ever, including Ferrari, Corvette and Audi.
By the way, this weekend's crowds were also impressive. I know that a ton of them were Scouts but, hey, people are people. Hopefully it turned a few more people into race fans.
I saw several paddock tours full of Scouts, and the kids were not shy about asking for an autograph. I was walking back to the garage with Will Nonnamaker, and he was stopped by a small army of kids. They all got an autograph and some chat.

The Ferrari and Audi are blurry for some reason, too slow a shutter? Great spot to camp for sure though!!!!

My bad,heres some in focus.lol I usually delete the blurry ones but the cars were so fast thru there and I dropped my good SLR camera on the concrete the night before .
no apology needed, if i dropped my DSLR i would cry and get fuzzy pics too.... you do the best with what you got!

No joke. I have more in my DSLR and lenses than I do in most of my cars.
I did cry when I dropped it.Its sent off to the Fuji right now for repair.
