I need some roll cage disconnects like the ones used on the Berkeley project. Needs to be for 1" tubing. I found some chromoly ones but would prefer mild steel. Thanks. Chad

Not sure exactly what you are looking for but S & W Race Cars has a lot of tubing fittings, bungs, clevis, rod ends, etc. http://www.swracecars.com/index.aspx Click on the catalog button and then go to the index. Better yet just order one of their catalogs.
Like these? NMNA.

Huh interesting I'd like to learn more about these. Do safety regs typically permit them? Could be a good way to follow my "minimize the amount of material you weld to the frame of your car" philosophy.

I considered this sort of solution because NASA GTS is a wide open cage design as long as it meets the minimum rules and BMWCCA limits me to 6 cage tie in points for the class. Doing this - I could build a whole rear subframe tie in system, front shock tower tie ins and then take the bolts out to race BMW legally.
Then I realized that I might need medication and/or professional counseling and just put a 6 point cage in and left it there.
