I’m sure there was custom car building going on before Barris too but West Coast Customs, the Original Customizer?

And even the shows intro he says “Some say customization is a thing of the past.” Really? Who the hell ever says that?

Trying to find something that shop did that wasn't painful to look at. I think the real life GTA 4/5 era Banshee might be it.

I’ve like some of his cars. I don’t discount his shops abilities and taste is personal. I just got a kick out of: A) “Original Customizer” and B) “Some say customization is a thing of the past.”

no, that Lamborghini was for Chris Brown so I wasn’t expecting much. The Corvette he did for Will I Am was cool. As was Gary Dourdan's green Charger.

The guy is kind of a scumbag.

Don't show me the outside.

Show me underneath, under the hood, behind the door panels.

It's what you don't see that tells you whether the guy is any good or not. Any goof can shave door handles, throw on some mud, block it smooth and have it vinyl wrapped.

I wonder if Chip Foose and his dad feel the same way Ryan does: that he’s the Original Customizer.

Or Boyd Coddington for that matter.(rest in peace)
