Being relatively new to S197s I can't seem to find those little parts that are needed when bringing a car back from the dead. Parts like clips for the rockers and wheel splash guards. I've looked at Rock Auto and OEM sites and  visited the S197 forum.

Any help is appreciated. As always.

I've owned a few of these cars.  Never had issues with the rockers but all other clips I've had to mix and match from different parts stores.  I've yet to find exact fit.

I buy all my plastic clips from Amazon. Just type in something like rocker clips S197. For the stuff I've needed I've got exact matches for cheaper than a couple of parts house 3 packs that never seem to be right

Auveco has them. If striking out ask your favorite body shop.

Have we seen your S197?  If you have a thread on here, throw up a link please as I would like to see it!

No build thread for this one. It's a base model V6, 5-speed that met a deer and is still pretty ugly.  I'm bringing it back to just cruise around in as I love the looks.

Appreciate the leads on parts!

If you can get oe part numbers on them I may be able to source them for you. We stock a lot of auveco parts at work.

If I can find out (or see) some numbers I'll let you know. Thanks Evan.

OEM part numbers help. I use those to search Ebay or use Google images.

I needed a metal clip to hold the bottom seat trim on mine. Ford did not sell it separately from the entire trim piece. I used Google images to locate ones that looked the same and wound up finding some sill trim clips from an Econoline that worked. Of course, only sold in a bag of ten, so if anyone needs one...

My local NAPA body supply has hundreds of body clips in several colors.  Never thought to go to a paint supply store for that but guess what breaks when you remove panels to paint?

Late Model Restoration has everything you need. Im doing the same thing now with a 2006 GT that has a missing front end. All the little clips, screws/bolts and capture nuts are all available for good prices from LMR. They also have alot of body parts for half the cost of the OE Ford stuff.

LMR is great, havent had any issues with Americanmuscle.com they've always taken care of me. Have also had good luck with Tascaparts.com, but I avoid CJ Pony parts like the plague after the last few orders were absolute nightmares.

I live about 30 minutes from CJ's. I've only ever bought one part from them. I can get most of the stuff for the same price from Summit.

Another +1 for LMR, but I've also bought a few things from CJs with no issues, too.
