I am going to call about this car tomorrow. I'm looking for a new daily and this looks too clean to pass up. I know there are some Saab guys on here, so I was hoping to get some advice on what to look out for. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

SaabSorry, forgot the link. http://charlottesville.craigslist.org/cto/3746466771.html
Non-turbo 5-speed so it will probably be as reliable as gravity. Watch out for rust in the passenger side front suspension mounting area.
Also transmissions are problems in those. Less so with an N/A, but still definitely be aware of that.
Its old enough that Saab woulda quit making the soft parts by now anyway, if they hadn't gone tits up and quit making all the parts for everything, so have at it. I always liked the 99/900 cars, as long as they didn't get too electronic-ey in the interior. That stuff can be trouble.
Pixels, ya know.
SlickkDizzy & stig99 covered the 2 biggest problems. The ad doesn't say how many miles is a lot, for a c900 that could be close to 300k. If its under 200k miles and shifts well I wouldn't wory about the gearbox to much. Worn out front motor mounts also cause shifting problems and are easy to fix.
One other thing to be aware of is that that car should have the 2.1l engine, which can have head gasket problems due to problems with the block's deck surface eroding, but its a solvable problem.
C900s are great cars, and when mine is all used up I will buy another one.

The only pixels in a c900 are in the radio. The switches for the power windows and such can usually be disassembled and cleaned a couple of times before they are completely dead. They have some relays that can get flaky, but from what I hear they aren't as bad as german cars from the same era.
Trans should be good no Pinion bearing issues. Pull battery out and look for rust the upper a arm mounts there. Can be fixed but a pain.
