Well, after a few months of casually looking at the last generation of Saab 9-3s, one finally found me... Its a 2006 2.0t "sport combi" (wagon). I bought it from the original owner with 158k miles and an enormous stack of service records dating to the pre delivery check. It has some scratches and dents, but if I told the price you would think it had been rolled off a cliff after catching fire from an engine explosion. Anyhow, is there anything of note to look for on the 2.0t ecotec? or otherwise with these cars?

It's the same old GM Ecotec as always, but with a turbo. Enjoy. Other than minor electrical problems they are sturdy enough. Genuinesaab.com has some fun aftermarket bits too. Have fun!

I have already had some electrical things... anti pinch window and flakey fuel gauge. Both fixed for free with a little forum reading. I also did some maintenance things. My only real concern is the ridiculous long oil change intervals that the gm oil life monitor suggests.

After only 100 miles I don't understand why wagons aren't better sellers.
