Hey all any recommendations for where to have a truck with busted engine towed in Grand Rapids? My BIL who is a member on here was driving along and the engine started free-revving. He turned it off and now it won't restart, the belts don't turn and it sounds like the flywheel just spins. It's raining there right now so hard to get a good look.
As much as I've never heard of it before it sounds like a disconnect between the fly and crank?? Mid 90s Ford Ranger 2.3ish. He replaced the motor before but doesn't have time to do it again this time.
Does anyone have any suggestions on where to have it towed?
