no real story here, just saw one, got excited, I want to share
Do you feel that it may have given you a case of "Th3 Wantz"?
If by "Th3 Wantz" you mean serious desire to have one, then yes, seeing the vehicle gave me "th3 Wantz" for sure. Wife of course didn't not understand, expressed amazement that I could recite statistics of the Syclone but could not remember anything about other silly topics such as what she does for a living, our anniversary, her middle name...

I saw 16 different NSXs on a trip to Columbus this last Saturday. My wife said it was another car adventure when I started going over their specs.
I liked the Syclone and Typhoons but I always thought it would be nice to do a LS swap in one.
Years ago at a nearby autocross a local GMC dealer brought a couple Typhoons out for everyone to do some runs in. Those were the days, things like that don't happen anymore.

I always wanted to do that, then put the drivetrain in an early C3 Vette.
I owned #327. It was wonderful. Yes to the V8, and the next one in my imagineering has a turbo as well.

just a fyi, the pre-98 (ones before smart trak or whatever they call it) bravadas have the save driveline as the sy/ty but just with 4 doors, and there are ls swap kits for 4wd s10's that would make it easy...
just google braphoon for some builds
one of my co workers has 2 typhoons. he had one of them years ago but now he also has a nicer one that he drives when its nice outside. one's the original green/gray and the "nicer" one has been repainted a dark blue and has some 5 spoke vette wheels.

I would google Braphoon just because I like the word.
Funny you say that, saw a syclone last night and the girlfriend caught me staring it down and before she asked I was spouting off why it was important, her response was "well its a cute little truck" with a huge smirk on her face.....

ah, yeah, that would ruin it. Don't mess with it, the Syclone is an american treasure!

I had to sit and think about it for a second to remember m wife's middle name. My.anniversary is Halloween. That was in purpose. I know her b-day from medical paperwork.
When I was a kid I had a Syclone poster in my room, odd child that I was. Still think they are super cool.
