I work at a resort in West Virginia and we had a Northeast Corvette club pass through enroute to the Corvette Museum with ~150-200 cars. I thought I's share this one in particular as I have never saw one, but have heard of it... Callaway C12 (Car 2 of 19 Road Cars)

Very cool guy that owned it and told me the story of the car and how he acquired it...
Also left me a booklet of where the car was featured in a brochure to be auctioned at Mecum.

On our second anniversary, Mrs 4cf and I went to a resort called Chateau Elan near Atlanta. Little did I realize, it was a half mile or so from Road Atlanta...lots of cool stuff to see that week. She was a trooper, and even accepted that I NEEDED to spend an afternoon there, and was happy to go on an adventure! Here are a few shots displaying a car club who was meeting for lunch and 18 holes at the Chateau on a random Tuesday in October...

We had a BLAST!!! ( By we, I mean mostly me, and she was happy that I was happy )

I saw this cool old Audi in the end of June 2013 in Grand Junction, CO this one time.

I creeped and took a picture from the driver's seat of our Mazdaspeed Miata. I do so hope he didn't mind.

I saw this at the Frog Follies last weekend. A turbo Chevy 250:

The truck thing it was in was NOT my style, but I was drooling at the thought of this drivetrain in a '60-'66 Chevy/GMC Pickup or Suburban.

Seems I have seen that Audi somewhere...

That's what i said when i just randomly saw it when i was driving through town!

I saw an MGB Roadster at a car show with a Hardtop (which is awkward looking), a set of aerodynamic headlight covers, a 32V Northstar under the hood, a manual box and wire wheels. That engine was literally stuffed in that engine bay. Looked like a well done conversion with a ton of work done to make it all fit.

I took pictures, but I need to get them off the wife's phone later.

At a car show a few years ago.....

Fun tidbits I wanted to share as they happened but didn't:

A BMW X6 M on the way to work... with VW badges in place of the Roundels - Awesomeness.

Had to dodge an orange cone in the middle of the roadway on the way to work one morning - autocross goodness on the way to work is an omen of great things.

I've just returned from Monterey for the Historics week, so yeah.....there were a few neat things to see :

Maserati pulled over near my work. Not that it's at all rare to see these where I live, but the particular area where I work is low-income/high crime. Cop was talking to the driver through the REAR passenger window with a hand on his weapon. Good chance it was stolen...lol

Today on the Ohio Turnpike, headed East, I saw a Tesla with plates from the State of Oregon.
Could he be driving cross-country in 65 mile stints?

If was an S model sedan, he'd be doing it in about 300 mile stints, and hitting the super charging stations to recharge in about half an hour. If it was a roadster, I think they can manage about 100 miles on a steady highway cruise.

Edit: Wikipedia says the roadster's range is over 200 miles!

I saw this in Beverly Hills one Saturday and sold an 8"x10" photo on ebay saying it was some famous "what's her name" actress. Somebody paid me $12.

I saw this in the parking lot at the Japanese Classic Car show.

Saw this near my favorite burrito place a few weeks ago.

You never know what you'll find when walking around Chicago. Yes, those are exhaust pipes coming out of the hood.

I've seen that dude. Attention whore. The pipes shoot flames. A lot.

I saw them heading to the Biltmore House on Tuesday. I have never seen so many versions of the same car in person. They must have stretched for nearly a mile. The lead group got a police escort into the house's entrance. I didn't like the C7 in pictures but it is a good looking car in person. I was driving in the opposite direction so no pictures.

Why?
