Yeah, that was typo on my part. It is a '54 concourse quality resto that a friend has in his stash of rare and ridiculously nice vettes. We went over for a Labor day picnic and he took me cruising around. Very cool old death trap of a thing ;)
I saw some Lotus 7/caterhams/locusts with hard tops going down the interstate a month or so ago. and lets just say they look weird with a hard top.
also at chrispy:
you should see them every may in Maggie Valley for Vette's in the Valley. about 200 of the same car at the fairgrounds. It is as boring as it sounds.
Maybe I can use this thread to post all the pics I take of cool stuff that usually go unshared. Let me start with this custom stubby L200:
Showed up to a mud pit/obstacle driving thing that I competed in. It didn't do well because open diffs. Good platform though, too bad they weren't available like this from the factory!
Pic I quickly snapped of an S2k with a Rocket Bunny body kit. Importing that kit must have cost a truly sickening amount of money, the guy who owns it lives in a beachside condo near my office. The looks could almost justify the costs though! Even the young guy in the E36 is like "Dayum!"

Saw this neat old bomb outside Walmart one morning. Loved the visor and all. Then I saw the plate. MN residents should know what I mean right away- but that's NOT a collector plate- which means he likely daily drives this thing. That's awesome.
