Love those cars, too bad my fat ass won't fit in one.

I've seen pictures of that car. Nice build, but I can't imagine how hot it must get inside. And a Spit/GT6 foot well is tight to begin with - this car - ouch.

I think Keith did the LS swap into an MGBGT. Still a small car, but quite a bit bigger than a GT6.

Right, mine's a MGB GT.

I have, however, spent some seat time in a mostly stock GT6. They're a great example of a British coupe - looks great from some angles, awkward from others. You have to photograph them with care When driving, there was enough heat coming off the transmission tunnel that we had the windows open...in January in Ontario. The front suspension felt as if it had two blown shocks and the rear (upgraded to the later, less lethal specification IIRC) felt as if it was seized rock solid. I never did get comfortable with the clutch. But it was a cool looking little car for a road trip - and a well converted one could easily address a number of these problems.
