There is a place in Hebron Kentucky that always advertises on local TV. Been there twice. Each time its always the same scam, you tell then what part you are looking for and they quote how much they are going to charge you, you spend half hour to an hour or however long it takes, you bring it to the counter and then they say, "oh, well, that's not what I thought you meant or (insert some dishonest, crooked business mumbo jumbo here), the cost of THAT part is really (original quote + $$$$). Just absolute crooks.
Bessler's, been there a couple times. I haven't had that problem though. They just haven't had what I was looking for. Except I did get a Miata strut tower brace for $10. There's also Pull-a-part in Carthage but never been there.

Here's a list of all the self service yards in and around Connecticut:
Is something being blocked on my end, because I'm not seeing the list. Was looking forward to the list, as I'm in CT as well!
Thanks!
There are approximately none near us.
I figured as much (got the humor the second time around). My brain is fried from dealing with the snow this AM. I'm just thankful it was cold enough so we avoided the wet, heavy snow...
There is actually one in Southington. Been there. It's not as organized as most yards I've been to...

Also, if you don't mind a trip to Worcester, there is Sam's Pull-a-part:

Hope these help those struggling in CT.

Big Thanks!
I thought that Chuck and Eddies had gone away.
I dragged a Jeep home from Worcester once, so I'd definately drive up to check out Sam's.
CARSON HOLD UP!!!
I REALLY hope you haven't bought anything yet.
Email me. I need to know if there's any restrictions in terms of "upgrades" with what you want to do with the car.
YOU DO NOT WANT A PROTEGE/EGT TRANSMISSION. There's a much better option, and won't really cost any more.

I can send it to your home email address, basically, I just said I already knew about the Kia 'box, but ended up getting a late, low-mileage EGT 'box. The Kia's stronger bell housing and larger diameter 28 spline axles would be nice if I boost the BP, but I think it'll be alright for my stock power in my application. It was $90 so if it turns to E36 M3 and breaks, I'll go grab another for $90. It's cheaper than the clutch!
Noice! For $90, can't complain.
