Florida people: point me in the right direction. I'm on vacation and there's nothing fun for out of towners to do in the Orlando area. I need to find a junkyard that will let me in to look around. We don't have many like that up north.

I have nothing on Orlando pick-n-pulls. I'm guessing the mouse, universal, and etc don't do it for you.
I have heard from a guy that looks like me that Dancers Royale in Orlando was a good time...allegedly...
Come to Gainesville/Newberry- we will toss you the keys to the Mumpkin and you can hoon around on some country roads. It has a tag and everything.
Or Junkyard:

If I get up to Gainsville, I think you know what keys I'm going after...and you're not getting them back if I do!

It prefers hooning to sedate driving. Plus-Woody is resposible for me owning a childhood dream car (that hes not getting back ).
U pull and pay is a good one outside of Orlando. I have used that a few times when I am visiting Florida. Quick turn over so there are a lot of new cars. I thought I was the only one that went to salvage yards when on vacation!! Just google it.

I'd love to take you up on the tour offer, but the odds of me getting over there are pretty slim unless we get a full day of heavy rain.
I like this yard. http://budgetupullit.com/ it's in winter garden but its a short drive on the turnpike.
Other than that lkq and u pull and pay.
There used to be some you-pull-it yards east on 50 towards Bithlo, but that was also a million years ago.

Pull and Pay on Jetstream Drive. Just off Orange Drive in South Orlando. My preferred stop when I have time when doing a Tallahassee to Ft. Lauderdale run. About 2 miles east of Orange Blossom Trail where it crosses under the Florida Turnpike.
There still are some near the nightmare before Christmas still (literally Bithlo is the town before Christmas on SR50). I usually head out to the ones in Apopka, FL. If you are at Disney this is your easiest commute. Hope on the 429 head north, get off at 414 and head East, there are like 10 junkyards in that area.
