Escrow sounds like a huge pain in the ass. What if someone buys my car, and they dont like it? Then they gotta return it, after sitting in it, farting in it, etc. What if it gets damaged in transit? Seems like it would really leave some gray areas.
I had a guy ask for escrow when I sold my LC, i told him no thanks. Considering the cost of a round trip flight to come look at it was less than the escrow cost....
I looked at an escrow company that Cars.com offered and it seemed like a lot of trouble.
I wouldn't deal with escrow. If you're that worried, get on a plane and come look at it in person. That's what you should be doing anyways.
