seems like a lot of folks are using other websites to post pictures of their builds saying it is easier. where is the easiest spot people have found for making such a thread?

It's not a matter of ease, it's just that the GRM forum uses a different style of image embedding than most forums. This means people can't simply copy/paste their build thread from another forum.

so if you have a series of jpg images and you would like to include some relevant text for each picture, what would be the easiest way to do that. sorry, i am not very computer literate!

Host them somewhere like Flickr or photobucket, copy a link from each hosted picture and embed it in the body of your build thread using the little camera icon above the text box. Insert relevant text and post the message.

I'm a horrible teacher, someone with better communication skill can probably explain it better.

I use my garage, my XR4 covers snippets of major updates, if I were to link all 1000 pictures and hundreds of updates it'd take me a week to put up, but all the pictures are available by clicking the 'click here for more images link'

Maybe use a blog type site and then link new updates on a thread here from time to time? Keeps you from copying the whole thing over and the format might be easier to work with.

Dangle a picture or two as bait and we'll click the link.
