I bought a set of polyurethane shackle bushings to mount my motor. That is next up in the project and should be done in the next few hours I have to work on the car.

The bushing kit came with 4 sets of bushings (I thought it was only going to be 2). It only came with two of the metal sleeves that slide into the bushings. Anyone know where I can get a couple?

I looked online and the ones i can find give a specific application and only give specific year jeeps. The kit I got it from the super every-truck that includes most F150s from the 80's and 90's. None of the bushing sleeves I found for sale have dimensions either, so I can't just match that up. I'm trying to keep from buying another set of bushings just for the sleeves.

The part that is annoying is I had a set of sleeves just hanging around the garage a while ago. I used to keep them "just in case" I needed a spacer or something. But tossed them a little while ago.

Thanks guys.

I have some left over from previous projects, what diameter do you need? I usually buy Suspension Techniques.

I've used metal tubing that was the right size, and I've machined my own. I'm sure the supplier might be able to sell you some extra.

Can you post up the dimensions? I'm sure someone here might have something, or can make something for you.

If you only thought it needed just two bushings, is it possible that you've got enough sleeves for your application?

Check out your local hardware stores. Where I worked we had several boxes with different sizes. Some steel, some aluminium, and some brass/bronze.

I'll check the hardware store out next chance I get.

The dimensions of the ones I have are 3 in long, 3/4 inch OD, and right under 5/8 inch ID.

Thanks guys.

If I have a 3/4 X 5/8 tube it's yours. Lemme know. If it isn't 3.0 inches long, could you use two and cut down to 3 inches?

Hunter, I don't have any 3/4" toobies, McMaster-Carr has them, just pick the steel hardness.

Oh, my, god... I love McMaster Car. For some reason I was unable to find them when using the phone app. Thanks a ton guys.

Should have looked through ALL the drawers before responding, I have four that are 3/4 OD, 5/8 ID and 1.660 long. If these work for you, PM me a snail mail address and I'll put them in the mail.
