Regular 2000GTs have gone for $1 million, not sure how much Shelby catchet will add to that.
I just picked up a Hot Wheels version of this livery last week.
Update: Went for $2.5M:

I always thought that the Toyota/Lexus LFA should have looked more like this. Beautiful car that many don't recognize.
A few sold for over a Million, but it seems like they dropped back to the 600-700k range. Once a few collectors have them, the buyer pool is small, so they sell cheaper or do not sell at all after the hype dies down

Yeah, it does seems like prices for the street cars have dipped a bit. Good point: Does everyone who wants/wanted one now have one?
In reply to David S. Wallens :
I want one but don't have one. But then again I haven't won the megaball lottery either...
Saw one of these at the Petersen some years ago - these cars are really tiny! Plenty of cars have surprised me by being smaller in person than they appear in the pictures, but the 2000GT definitely takes the cake. Beautiful little cars.
Yeah, they're small. I visited a private collection last year and they had one. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to sit in it to see if I fit. My understanding is there is height limit with these cars. It's why the one used for a James Bond movie had the top cut off - Sean Connery didn't fit otherwise.

I saw one up close at a local stop on the Great American Race a few years ago. Like you, my first impression was how tiny it was , followed by how gorgeous it was.
In my lowly opinion that is one of the most beautiful cars ever made, the race car is just icing on the cake.
They are small but, yes, also one of the most beautiful cars ever built. I'd put it up there with the Ferrari GTO.
I had the opportunity to buy one when they were cheaper. I'm 6'1. I just couldn't fit and I really, really, wanted to.
