A room, store, building, home, park, beach etc.
You can't fake the patina.
Currently 68 sunny with a breeze.
This is my family time place or time alone place. More movies are watched here, my phone gets lost for days here. Kids bring friends here for low key fun. Two miles to some of the best beaches in the world, seasonally but still.
My life has some struggle as most everyone does in some way or another.
Don't forget to spend time in your happy place. If you can't think of one, go for a walk or drive and find one.
I got two happy places.
the first is Allianz field in Minneapolis. I got supporter section tickets. Come on you loons.
the other is mountain biking. Mostly with my family. Here's one with me and the boys. Bobsled at cuyuna for the win

My kids enjoy your happy place, you are not alone.
I'm kidding, kind of. I come back to it regularly and it never gets old, but my real happy place is the mountains - blue ridge, smokies, or whatever is nearby. Here is a pic from last weekend.

The last place I rode a board. Locals made sure I only got one wave. I gave up before I got hurt.
I have a few happy places, but the American Classic Arcade Museum at Funspot in Laconia, NH might be the happiest for me.
This is great.
I can relate to most of these. At times I have been a mountain biker, woods dirt bike rider, been drag racing, owned a boat. Cedar point on Fourth of July is the best, everyone is out camping or having a gathering.
Patrick,
Your cabin looks about the size of mine but way newer, where is it?
There's not many racetracks I get super excited about going to purely as a spectator and not a driver. This place is definitely one of them. Although whe I do manage to get in a car it's that much better.
