I didn't read your links, but I know for a fact that Daytona Turbo Z suspension components bolt right onto a K wagon. Bonus points if it's woodgrain.
Just search for TIII Wagon and you'll see one that is a Spirit R/T underneath. Very stealthy and just sick. I think if you hit the archives here I posted the link to it and my buddies factory turbo wagon
