Toyman's rimz WILL fit that car. Pre-03 Panthers had that offset.
The white cars always peel. I am surprised there is that much paint still on the car.
The seats are a bit of a pain in my experience. Not sure exactly but the mounts differ every couple years. If the frame is sound just have it re done or diy.
05+ mustang wheels will mostly fit. Some of the torque thrust and fanblades will need a small spacer to clear the brakes. Newer Mustang take offs should be everywhere though.
If you need any oddball stuff just shout we normally have one or two about to go to auction that I tend to rob parts from for other cars.
Great find! I am excited to hear your thoughts on the car after a couple miles!
Thanks Ross

I'm 200 mile into it. Over all it's a pretty decent car. I like simple and this one, for the most part, is just that. I'm actually surprised at how well it handles. Even with the stick axle, it handles and drives better than my E24. Better turn in, less body roll, and it feels lighter. The E24 kind of lumbers around corners, where the P71 seems kind of eager to get it done.
I've got a couple of things to check today. It has a squeak coming from under the car somewhere, exhaust I think, and a odd noise coming from the rear suspension. Probably a bushing or a shock. Typical stuff that pops up on a car that has been sitting for a long time.
This one will probably be in the fleet for a good while. It's a good do anything car that will hold all of us. It will eat up the highway miles, autocross, track day, and haul the family to dinner or the beach. The interior is durable and easy to keep clean. Parts should be dirt cheap and I just so happen to have a spare engine and transmission for it. It may just be the perfect car for me.
Then again I may hate it in a month and be ready for something different. Sometimes the ADHD kicks in.
Those Mustang wheels look like they fit fine. Car just needs a good dose of sawzall or angle grinder
Keep your existing Mustang wheels, and buy Detroit Spring 2" lowering springs and some universal flares. Result? All the internets.
A set of these should be delivered by the 17th.
They were surprisingly cheap. I think I'll be wrapping them with a set of Sumitomo HTR Z III

She is. 99% of the bruising is gone, so I no longer get those evil looks when we are in public.
And yes, the yellow, smashed up Mustang is in the shop.
My wife had court today for the ticked issued for the wreck. She drove the Crown Vic. Apparently she likes it better than the dually. Round trip was just shy of 340 miles. The beast returned 22 mpg and she said it ran perfectly the whole way. Not to bad for a cheap car.
Old busted and new hotness.
Old busted.
New Hotness!
They completely change the personality of the car. The tires also solved all the looseness I was feeling in the back of the car. The entire car feels much more planted.
I Like It!
Looks awesome!
Ive always heard the bullets are some of the heaviest mustang wheels . How were their weight compared to the steelies?
In reply to chiodos:
I didn't weigh them, but I'd say they are comparible to the steelies. Possibly a little lighter. If I get a chance this weekend, I'll throw them both on a scale.

Dont want to put you out any work but if you do that would be cool.
Reason i ask is ive had an urge for years to get a p71, and im due a new car in a month. And about the wheels cause i think the bullets are some of the best looking wheels ford made for the mustangs

I had to pull the rear wheels to do the back brakes.
The steelies with the Eagle RS-As weigh in a 53 pounds.
The Mustang wheels with the Sumitomo HTR Z IIIs weigh in at 50 pounds.
That slight amount of difference could be in the tires.
