Drove my 66 Midget from DC to SE Mass and back on i95 when I was in Army. Don't remember any bad encounters. Maybe I was too young and carefree to notice.

I was thinking the same as my Miata used to be my sole car.
True, we were younger back then.
Also, and I’m sure we can dive into the figures, but back then the average car was a Camry, Caprice, etc. Today, though, seems like it’s an F150. Everything else has just gotten bigger while our Miatas, MGs, etc., haven’t.

So, who won?It was close. (Okay, not really.)
Also, the tractor was towing one of those big lawn mowers.
Har! That thar is watchya call a "bush hog" Pronounced "Bushhawg"
There are a bunch of those sprayers out here in farm country. I'll see if I can get one of the farmers to let me try it.

It was big. Like, really big.
Plus, the noise from the whole rig. Being beneath an overpass might have contributed to that.
Still, not your normal driving experience.
The tractors never bothered me too much, but when a Combine is rolling up in the opposite direction... they usually stick into your lane and they have all those pointy appendages with a thirst for blood.

Since we're talking about a classic 911, the size comparison isn't quite so dramatic. A 1983 911 only has a 0.25" longer wheelbase than an NA Miata, and stock heights are within 4". Even closer if you've got a hardtop on the Miata. Believe it or not, the first generation Miata is actually wider than an '83 911 SC.
And the driving position is kind of neat, and you have an engine that weighs about the same as an LS1 hanging out behind the rear wheels.
Love to have an SC. I fell in love within a block of driving one.

Looks to me like his hand is on the loader joystick, which has transmission range selector switches on it in these tractors.
When I bought my first Miata, SWMBO and I were out for a drive. I stopped behind another vehicle at a traffic light......
SWMBO: "What's that big thing?"
Me: "Ford Focus"

Same except it was an '85 RX-7 and a Toyota Matrix.
We couldn't see the windows or door handles.
Driving a lowered Leyland Mini around town makes you feel really small.
Driving a lowered Leyland Mini on the interstate makes you feel microscopic.
Looking up at the top of an 11R22.5 was disconcerting. Pretty sure I could have driven under the trailer no issue.

I had a Mini in the early 80s. I autocrossed it in the Ontario regional series, so I had to drive it through Toronto on occasion. Twelve lanes of the 401 in a Mini is nerve wracking.
Even though my Volvo 1800e is the same size as a Pinto, which is kind of big compared to a lot of the others, and it seems even though it seems small, as long as you are traveling at a lot higher than the others highway speed, it is as lot safer.
When I moved from a Spitfire to an NA Miata, people thought I was weird talking about how large and heavy it was.
I once drove the Spitfire from New Orleans to Key West over a weekend. I did that in the 2000's. I felt like a bug trying to avoid a windshield for much of that trip.

Theyre at a red light, not moving, so what? Also, the guy in the 911 is distracted by his phone/using his phone.
Was on I 77 thus AM in the Charlotte area driving the Wife's 2018 RAV4
Passed a 68 Camaro SS, good looking car, (Younger Male Driver with the Reversed ball Cap ) and it registered just how small that generation of Camaro actually was.
Not quite the same size difference between the RAV4 and the JD Mentioned earlier, but an interesting observation

And the driver of the Porsche is using their phone to take pics.
As the resident DE instructor I can't condone either behavior. It's a distraction to be using a phone regardless of why.

The first time I drove a '64-66 Mustang, when I closed the door, I nearly took my left kneecap off with the turn signal stalk.
And the 289 was giant in the tiny little engine bay.
I'd love to have one, but... um... make mine Duratec four powered. And extend the steering column back a few inches so I have enough thigh room to work the clutch.
