That would be entertaining when he needs to turn right.

Why? Chassis was listed as no offset.

Besides, there is a grmer who races an offset chassis for hillclimbs and does well.

I think it would be perfect t!

Would you be able to title/reg this as a self-assembled car, regardless of the body panels you stick on it?

A prius is listed as 106.5 in wheelbase.... Early ones with high millage ones are cheap.. under 1000$. Selling non used bits may bring its challenge value to 500$... A prius has a low drag coefficient.. may not be a big advantage for challenge though

Most of the race versions used a ? Cavalier body.

A body dropped prius would be amazing. Talk about unexpected.

the other problem i'll run into with a newer body is anything 25 years or newer needs emissions tested. unless it's got a simple way to make the computer "lie" to the emissions testing equipment(obd2) then it won't get plates, won't get driven on the street, and would be a waste of time.

i may have something more than old enough soon, might be getting one of my old cars back.

You can register it to my house if that helps.
No emissions testing in my county of Ohio.
On CL there are some rusty 80's Malibus. The slab side bodies should lend to easy fit ala Roadkill style.

Did anything ever happen with this?

It still haunts me thinking about the possibility of the old school ride Appleseed posted on the first page:

I cut it up.  At some point water got inside the frame rails and blew them up from the inside out.  Traded the quick change for a wad of cash, kept the front suspension intact as a rolling clip for future use.
