After reading the article in the most recent Issue and also being in the final stages of restoring a car I got form the junkyard (see my X type thread) I was at one of the local pick and pulls today and these caught my eye.
In the pick and pull area I found these.
635 CSI
Pulsar NX
And in the area where they are selling whole cars I found these.
An Alfa
And A Pontiac
Wow. Glad you guys enjoyed that article, too. Norman hit it out of the park, and it was fun working with him on it.
And if you get that Pulsar, you need the SportBak.
still sitting on this one contemplating fixing it.
wonder what is wrong with the Alfa.

someone stole the headlights so the insurance company totalled it
I looked at the alfa and all the lights were missing. The drivers door needed new hing pins as it was not closing correctly. It looked like either a barn find or something that some one got stored and gave up on. I did not see much rust and the paint looked original. No signs of a re spray.

Bought for $1850 at copart in late 2013. It is a theft recovery with no motor. It does have a cage and a ford 9 inch with Moser axles. I haven't finished it yet, its day is coming...

Bought for $1850 last year at copart. 2002 model with 56k miles. Took roughly $2000 in parts and labor to fix. Added a set of RE11a's and autocrossed the heck out of it when my wife wasn't driving it as a second car. Sold it late last year for $5800 with a rebuilt title. Great little car...

I dated a girl with one of those for a while, she was so damn sexy.
I kind of have a weakness for 914s. Maybe with counselling I could get over it, but I think you have to want to change, so maybe not.

Dang PimpM3. I have the perfect motor and radiator to go into that. It looks like a good find for the money.
