Simon Paul—designer of the original "Angry Shifter Guy" and every GRM shirt for the past decade, recently lost his wife of 15 years, Karla. She had a condition that she'd been fighting for much of her life, but as those of you that have faced these situations know, that doesn't make it any easier.
He and his son are coping well. He sends his apologies that this took him off the duty of doing a new shirt this year, but we can't even fathom that being part of his attention right now.
We are going to do a limited re-run of his original Angry Shifter Guy shirt, though. Everyone seems to dig these, and it is the 10th anniversary, so it seemed somehow fitting. They'll be at the Rolex, then online shortly after that.
Is there any information regarding a fund in her name? in addition can the limited run be priced at $40-50 with a donation attached?
You know that's a great idea. Let me see what I can find out.

I'm sorry to hear the news, and I feel for Simon and his son. Terribly sorry.
I'll just put this out there. I don't want to sound like a jerk-face, but I would prefer you not inflate the shirt price to something ridiculous like 30-50 bucks please. I would love to buy a shirt, but I can't afford a $50 shirt. Truth be told, if the shirt was $20 and there was a paypal donate button I likely would donate something but not that much. I donate a significant chunk of money every month to a cause I believe in, and there's just not the money in the budget for that.
