Odd request (well, perhaps not odd on here)......
I would like to know two measurements off a Volvo 240 wagon (doesn't really matter what year or model), and they don't need to be precise, just ballpark:
width of the back end of the car (from one corner of the bodywork around waist level (door window sill level))
width of the roof (from gutter to gutter).

I can't help with the measurements but you might want to look at 740 wagons as well.
yeah, I'm thinking that the 740s were more vertical and probably wider, while the 240s were from the same era as the e30s so might have closer dimensions.
Just thinking out loud really. I'm not going to do this to the rally-x car, but the thought has crossed my mind for a future LeMons build, perhaps...

Oh hell yes, i'd love to have an e30 touring even if it was half volvo...

Yeah, a couple years ago I had a 190E 2.3 16v that I wanted to turn into a wagon; the Volvo was what I was looking at. Never did it though.
