This isn't going where your dirty minds think it is.
I was looking at a couple of lease buildings because I'm thinking about moving my office to a larger facility. One of them was a fairly unassuming warehouse complex. It's about 5 units long and I've never seen a car in the parking lot. So I pulled in and took a peek through the window to see if it might be available. All the divider walls were gone so it was one big space.
Behold:
They have been sitting for a while. The newest tag I saw was from 2010, they were covered in dust and half of them had flat tires. I hated to see them like that. I could spend years in there tinkering and polishing them. Beautiful stuff.
Maybe one of the benefits of a tanked economy- lots of cheap buildings around.
Geeeeez pure gold and a good find. I wouldn't even know where to begin.
Dibs on the DeLorean & T-Bird! :D
Your vehicular voyeurism excites me...
Seriously?
I see a Lincoln K-series, a red something from the 1920's and several early Fords and you guys get sweaty over a berkeleying Delorean?
Fine, I'll take the rest.

that red phaeton would be a fun car
Is that an amphicar I see? Love them things.
I'll take the black mobster car in the foreground of the Delorean pic.

Looks like a Nash Healey.
In reply to JFX001:
I think you're right. I thought Muntz Jet at first but the fender lines and hood aren't right.
The green one isn't a Lincoln, I was mistaken, it's a late 1920's Packard Eight.

The blue one next to the El Camino...Auburn boat tail?
Looks like one. Next to the white T-Bird, Corniche?

Oh, don't get me wrong, I love those cars too - but I think the DeLorean and/or T-Bird would get more use & enjoyment.
I'd take anything but the DeLorean. I'll never get the fascination with that epic failure of a car...
I'm going to do some digging today and see if I can track down the owner. Maybe he would like a little help taking care of them.
Next to the white T-bird is not a Corniche; those were all two-doors. It appears to be a Silver Spirit.

I seriously believe it's entirely due to the Back To The Future series. If it wasn't for those movies most people would have never seen or heard of a Delorean.

This is GRM, people get sweaty over Yugo’s, trabants, Skoda's, Lada's and berkeleying Camry's, yes we’re getting excited over the Delorean.
Fragile Froggy engine? Check.
Sublime chassis designed by the dark lord of light weight and unreliability? Check.
Electrics by the lord of Darkness Lucas? Check.
Ass backwards layout with poor polar moment meaning every ounce of ACBC's chassis dynamics are needed to keep it sane? Check.
Laughed at by the mainstream? Check.
Weird ass styling? Check.
berkeley yeah, this should be THE official car of GRM. Where's the project car Tim?

OK, but remember DNA is difficult to remove from mouse hair seats.
