Snap-On made a wasp waisted, 6" long 12mm 12-point 1/2 drive impact socket.
It was called a "Ford driveshaft bolt socket".

I picked up the new to me '97 Miata yesterday. It was such a pleasure to drive something that simple again. I was grinning the whole way home.

There must a reason my favorite street car is my E30 and my race only car is a '90 Miata with no trac/abs/stability crap.If I flatspot a tire or spin its my fault and I need to learn to not do it again instead of just relying on the easy button approach to do it for me.
