I've been looking for a fun street car for some time now and nothing was really pushing the right buttons. Well today I found an 08 Miata GT with 13k miles, so I figured I'd give it a shot. Long story short - I take delivery tomorrow. 20 minutes behind the seat reminded me why I miss my 96 Miata so much, but now I have leather, LSD and a 6-speed.
nice, I'm looking at a trio of NAs myself this weekend. I may pickup a pair (with the intent of reselling one of the two come spring after putting some cleanup and mild work into it). The ND release really got me wanting one again.
How long did you go without one?
I made it 2 years without one after daily driving one for 2 years.

Took delivery last night. It's like my 96 only better in every way - especially power.
Nice score! I still have to see if I fit in any variant of the NC, so I know when the ND comes out and the NCs drop in price that I can jump on one.
This one was $13XXX out the door - you're not going to see them get much lower. I'm 6'2" 200lbs with a 32" inseam. I fit fine. Might modify the rear seat mounts to drop them another inch, which is quick and easy.
