Just showed building of a BMW Z4. They are scheduled to re-air at 1:00am on Monday. Very cool.

I watched a few of them today. Not bad overall...

I recorded the one from the BMW plant. I got to take a plant tour there a few years ago--very cool. The bodies in white staging area was particularly cool.

I was watching them build Caterpillar tractors last night. They also had a great hour of building John Deere Tractors.

Really cool welding process, but I question this being on Speed.

they were originally on national geographic. I have no idea how they got on the speed holiday marathon line-up.

I think it is an improvement over Nascar.

It doesn't seem all that bad...

Until you start thinking of all the racing that COULD be shown.

We were in Central America last week, and the home we stayed at had Sky Satillite, which had an international version of Speed. MOST of the shows were actual races- A1GP, Euro Touring Cars, etc. Only a few fluff shows. But it was all in Spanish, and we were not at home all that much.

I'd much rather see actual racing than some show about making a John Deere. Or a big dump truck. Or even any car, for that matter. Keep that on Modern Marvels, and keep the racing on Speed.

I agree SPEED should not be old, factory tours

Better than some crap on the tube, But where are the races? Even old races?

The making of the z06 is interesting but dated. And belongs on the science channel or ?

I draw the line at the Cat factory!
