Every Porsche owner should have these turns aos replacement from hours into 20 minutes

1000x this. I spent hours, what a PITA. After this thread I'm shopping for pliers and clamp assortment to spring clamp all the things.

Complete set from Amazon for $44.  Much cheaper than the set I bought from the Toolwarehouse almost 20 years ago and includes some a few more useful tools.

Yep, that's the set I bought too... Well, a different name, but ya know, same Chinese factory:

They don't slip off, they don't slip under and destroy the clamp (if it ain't round anymore, it is garbage), the cable type and the clamp-specific pliers type are usually locking, which is amazing to have, because if you are reusing a hose the clamp MUST go exactly where it was before, or it will probably leak

Yep. The first time you use these it will feel like a ray of light shining down on you. Especially the remote cable style when you're getting to a clamp buried in the engine bay.  It will literally make you want to replace all of your worm drive clamps because spring clamps are instantly so much easier to remove and reinstall.
