My 04 Lancer Ralliart wagon has four airbags, two side impact in the seats and two front. The passenger front has been replaced under recall twice.
The SRS warning light is on. This is what my OBD scanner showed.
My plan is to disconnect the battery, then unplug the connection on the seats, spray some contact cleaner and reconnect.
I've never worked on anything like this, any suggestions? I'd rather avoid a trip to the dealer if they just do the same thing that I'm planning.

I'd be suspicious it is that simple. I'm also a little surprised your scan tool could read SRS codes. The SRS is sort of it's own circuit. Further, I'd wonder if your tool is capable of resetting the system.
Couple that to the fact that doing something wrong can deploy that airbag, it's something I'd recommend leaving to a professional. I'd check with a body shop vs going to a dealer as they may be able to do it cheaper.
Weird question... does the vehicle have a light somewhere that shows when the passenger seat area airbag is NOT on? Like if there is only a few lbs in the seat and the sensor is smart enough to know not to deploy those airbags?
If so, I have heard that some mazdas will throw error codes very similar if that light bulb is disconnected or burnt out.
I'm going to check for a passenger seat inactive light. I haven't been driving it myself for a few years, but I don't think it has one. From browsing some forums, it's possible that the central module is bad. NLA, of course.
To top it off, wife got t boned in it today. A dumbass on a bicycle (his fault, and he got cited, being a pedestrian means no insurance to go after) can do a surprising amount of damage with enough speed. May be time to replace it.

There's a police report. It's documented
Face plant, on closer look at the photo, looks like his tooth punched a hole in the metal.
bike impact
While this isn't enough damage to keep us from using the car, it is another issue that makes me reluctant to spend money chasing complicated and potentially unresolvable repair.
I'm considering not driving it on the street anymore, stripping the interior and airbags out, throwing in a couple of lightweight seats and using it for Rallycross.
