Subaru rallyx update: Towing

Our Impreza has been helping us with some chores.

Years ago a housemate managed to back her Saturn SC1 partway down the concrete steps next to our driveway rather than the driveway itself. It didn't have enough weight or contact patch in the front to pull itself back up (she left some interesting tire tracks on our walkway trying). So my ex-wife hooked up her tow strap to her bone stock 96 Impreza L and pulled the SC1 back up, saving the embarrassment of a tow truck call.

I wouldn't put a quick tow on the list of things an Impreza couldn't do. Now doing a rescue tow mission on an 89 Crown Victoria and pulling it through town? That would be impressive.

I use the miata for those types of things.

Heck, I use my Impreza Wagon (aka: Forester) to tow boats. Braking is your major worry.

Boo. I was hoping for a Rally-X update as stated in the title. For example the Rally-X at Starke later this month.

I should be there in the Wife's Forrester which will again decimate the competition.
