Saw an ad in the most recent issue for the Superlite Coupe that caught my attention. Went to check out the website ( http://www.superlitecars.com/ ) and saw the Roadster (SL-R) for the first time. The website has precious little information about the car other than the parts and prices and the "News" section of the site is hopelessly out of date.
Does anyone have any experience with these? Are they well-built? Fast? Safe on-track? Are they as good as other kits (F5, Stalker, Birkin/Caterham 7 replicas, etc.)? I'm intrigued by the possibility of an Atom-esque track toy that was designed specifically for a 4g63 and a limited budget.
Thanks!

This should speak volumes... think of it in terms of what you might expect for support if they can't even keep their webpage updated. I recommend instead building your own from scratch, starting with www.locostusa.com. Just say'in.
I know Fran from Race Car Repliacs. He is a fantastic guy. He's a little too busy building cars to update his site though. LOL Check out Exocars.net and GT40s.com and look for the RCR areas of those sites. I've been to his shop and riden in an SL-R. Both are fantastic. There's a guy in Australia running a 450 hp 4G63 in his. There's a couple of guys here in the states with 300+ hp versions as well.
Good stuff.
The SL-C looks beautiful.
His website has a phone number that pops up on my browsers tab. You should call him, maybe you can get a ride from a local owner?
