I recall seeing one on the $2004 Challenge entry list, but it didn't show up.
Because even though most look solid on the outside, the frame & rockers are almost certainly rotted from the inside out by now???

I keep wanting to make a rallycross beast with one. Rules say you can't alter the body other than reinforcement or external body panels. Well, okay. Reinforce the body enough that you can mount the suspension and drivetrain directly to it, eliminating the frame. Get that sucker low so it doesn't flip. Subaru Impreza suspension in the rear with an R-180 diff. Mount the front diff directly to the engine. For disturbingness' sake, use a Nissan four mated to a Skyline GT-R transmission. (There's one on eBay right now with a $350 BIN, someone buy it so I don't!)

It does sound similar to the KL v6 some people have guessed it is based on.
I like these but I am afraid to tell my wife....
