For all the people who couldn't make the NW Ohio meet i propose one for the Southwesters. I suppose people who attend the NW one can attend too if they want. I'm thinking an autocross and post-game at a local pub.
The Miami Valley Sports Car Club is having an autocross at Kil-Kare Raceway Sunday, June 27.
Their site can be found here: http://sites.google.com/site/mvscctest/
For those not interested in autocross, the National Air Force Museum is about 25 minutes away from the raceway and is a pretty cool stop:

Afterword, there's a local bar located just across the street from Wright State University with awesome food and good beer. It's about 15 minutes from the raceway and the same from the museum. It gets bonus points because I used to work there.

So who's in?
enjoy,
Jacques
Tentatively in. Do you guys run an SMS class? I don't have a whole lot of interest of getting forced into F Prepared.
I would be but will be in New England that week
They actually use NASA rules, not SCCA.
Oh... so what does that do to me? Got a link to the local organization?
I should be there Jacques.
Maybe even with a car this year...

Here's a link to the classing sheet, i could have sworn there was an online plug in your mods one but i can't seem to find it:

I actually prefer this classing system because it uses a points system to determine class. So rather than X mod bumping you into a different class, you have to accrue so many points.
edit: I guess they're updating the online version. It's much easier to use, it'll be at this link once it's fixed:

WOR is having a rallycross on June 26th in Waynesville also if there is interest in a Saturday meet-up. The rental Altima should be available for those that don't want to use their own cars.
I won't be able to do the autocross on the 27th but would definitely be up for an afternoon at the Air Force Museum.
Use My Auto Events dot com to post up the meet, link it to Cheap Bastards as well ;)
Hrmmm... would be nice if i knew what my base class was.

I'm originally from Eaton, and I went to Wright State. Unfortunately, I now live near Detroit, and don't have the time to make it back home very often. Sounds like a good time, though.
If I'm in town, I can probably make it to the museum. May not be around. Dunno if my challenge car is going to be ready for testing at the autox by then.
As for the rallyx, as long as the rental is there, and I'm in town, I'm there. Need to play in the dirt.
sounds like a good time, count me in

Good time. I recommend.
It has been years since I ran there but I used to attend some Dayton area autocrosses and always enjoyed them.
I will not be able to make it that weekend. Schedule conflict with one of my biggest sailboat races of the year, Cleveland Race Week.
Ironically, I will be in Dayton today.
Month and a half out bump. Seems the online classer for the autocross is still down. IIRC they'll let you run SCCA classes as well but i'll see if i can't at least track down what base class cars are in.
edit: If i'm reading this right SCCA classing can also be used.

No choice, attendance is mandatory. Did you see the red 86 MR2 for $600 on craigslist? Looked pretty awesome...and rusty, but mostly awesome.
I should be able to make it.

The following weekend is Mini Meet East in Fairborn, OH. If anyone in the area wants to see around a hundred classic Minis in one spot this is the place.
