wikipedia says"
The ST165 was not sold in North America before 1988 except for seventy-seven special-edition cars sold to commemorate Toyota's IMSA GTO championship win. These Celicas are all white with white wheels and blue interior and have "IMSA GTO CHAMPION" printed in small letters on the side moulding, as well as a white stripe on the grill. One car was sold at each of the 77 Toyota dealerships in California. They were sold in 1987 as 1988 models, and do have the viscous-coupling center differential."
I hope to god this car finds a person that appreciates it and takes care of it. There aren't a lot of cars I wouldn't look into modifying if I bought them but this is one of them.
Ehhhh... cool, but they really aren't special compared to normal st165s, and without the wheels (those aren't st185 wheels by the way), value tanks. There was a dude making replicas of those stickers awhile back as well.
Looks clean though. I'd throw him $3500 and get to making TEXASwhp.
where st165 gt-four's sold here?
Yep they were. Quite a few of them. Most were 1988s. Many sold in 1987.
found this as well.

What's with the boosted Toyota's...
Huh, I never knew they made an alltrac in that body style. Still want, not as rare as I thought initially so awesome. Man, the collective knowledge on this forum.
im blown away be the complete lack of rust on this one compared to every other st165 that is on the road

It's also missing the white stripe grille.

I'm known for flying the 'Toyota is the devil incarnate' flag around here, but I do love some of their older models and the 4th gen Celica ST165's are one of my favorites. I wouldn't want to own one, but what a cool car.
