GMC based UPS truck turns over one million miles...........well, on three engines anyway. Linky:

I could see one of those as a good Grassroots tow/race vehicle, mush like an old skoolie.

nothing new to see here

http://www.allpar.com/trucks/dodge/ray-van.html

http://list.priceweber.com/cummins/million_mile.html <-- original engine, turbo and injectors..

22 years and a million miles is weak.

http://www.cumminsforum.com/forum/94-98-powertrain/7194-how-many-miles-does-your-stock-12-valve-have.html <--- 1st page of thread of 22 page thread 1.3M miles.

2.6M miles on a Volvo http://www.vcoa.org/irv-o-meter/

Lame PR by UPS and GM, thats all it is.. 3 engines? Lame.....

There was a story here in Orlando in the news of some lady who was the original owner of a 70 Camaro that has over 1 million miles, everything is original except for some body work on the back and some paint.
