That car has a non-AC firewall, but an AC dash panel. I'm willing to bet that whole interior is not original to that car.
With all the crap sitting on the real window channel, it will be a miracle if it isn't rusted out. If the trunk is wet, it's rusted out under the window. No way that car is dry inside. Good luck, let us know how it turns out.
Also, you can replace the ugly nose on that with the '77-78 version, the 2nd best TA nose, after the 70-73.
Emailed the guy yesterday early afternoon, no response.
Assuming it's sold, going to text him to confirm.
(either that it's sold or that he is too cool to check his email)
EDIT: texted me back 'sold it yesterday, sorry'
Now I wait until I get to harass y'all about the next possible project.
Thanks again for the input.
http://tampa.craigslist.org/hdo/cto/4882081316.html Although its a z28, I thought you guys might be interested. Would make a fantastic fly and drive thread for us to follow,I'm sure ran when parked!
those sidepipes are hugely fantastic
that Z is like a rolling time capsule that was buried in the 80's..
it's got the header sidepipes..
it's got the pullout tape deck..
it's got the digital clock installed in the glovebox door..
it's got a Holley spreadbore qjet replacement carb capped with a 10" open air cleaner..
if it had a stick, i'd be figuring out how to go buy it..
[edit] i don't know how i missed the Accel yellow plug wires (probably hooked to a tan Accel distributor cap) and the musical horn under the hood, as well as the Cragar wheels...

And those look like the old style Cragars.
The Super Comp header/sidepipes do sell in the 1,000.00 range like the seller says. Last NOS set I got cost me almost 1500.00 and aren't even chrome. However if the ones on the car are rusty they're worth a lot less, like $300-600.00.
I would check that exhaust really good, I have two too many projects to think about that z, but I can look!
