450hp 5.0L Tau V8 in a GenCoupe? Where do I sign? I would gladly sell the 'vette, Accent, bike and a kidney for that car.

One question I have for the Genesis Coupe faithful: How the hell do you wear a helmet with those headrests? Are they adjustable? I have two friends with GCs, and in both of them it feels like the seat is trying to shove my head into the dashboard.

But yes, Tau GC would be excellent competition for the current batch of pony cars.

That looks nice, and with all the econo-cars they sell, they should have enough to get it past CAFE. Just keep the price under 35k and it better have a 6-speed manual.

I think it would be a hit at $40k if it has a supercharger on it...

Smaller and lighter.

Plus better looking, better sight lines and not a Mustang.

Personally, I think the GC looks better than the Mustang. Of course, that's subjective.

Otherwise, has anyone done a direct comparison between the V6 GC and the V6 Stang?

It is really that much more sophisticated than a Mustang? It is still the same basic car as the $23K 4cyl. Does doubling the HP really make it worth twice as much or more? Nobody starts thinking Corvette at that price?

Not at all. I am not a Mustang Fan. It's a personal opinion on a car that I do not like. Does not make it "narrow minded". I've driven several of the new mustangs and I do not like the feel, I don't like the look and they just feel massive.

It's an opinion. We are still allowed those.

If a Corvette had a backseat, then yes I agree. But it doesn't, so I can't.

I wouldn't own a BMW/Merc/Audi. I can't afford the cost of ownership once warranty expires on German automobiles. Besides, the 335 has no beautiful V8 exhaust note. That alone may be worth the price of admission.
