Just ordered wheels for my BRZ. So I'm looking at either 255 or 265/35/18s.
Yes, it's an STX setup. No I don't care about tread wear (I"m keeping the stock setup for Oct-Feb).
Main concern is something that will hold up to 20 minute track sections without chunking. Car has coilovers with proper camber.
Hankook RS-3
for that application, probably hands down best solution.

I still have to drive on these, during the summer.
Just wondering if I should go with an EXP tire or Michelin Super Sports.
if you're after something for the street setup, that can go to the track, get decent wear, and grip… I'd go with the Conti DW's
Michelin PSS are really nice road tires, but they have less grip than the RS3 and D2SS and also don't handle abuse very well. They're also expensive. Conti DW is the same, just not as expensive.
