Hmm. Two U.S. motorsports sanctioning bodies lose major sponsorships in the course of a week. Last week it was announced that the US Army is leaving NHRA at the end of this season and now this. Canary in a coal mine or just normal churn?
From what I have read it was not totally unexpected. Ed Brown stopped racing and Patron was sold to Bacardi so the move seemed to fit.

Yup. Also random note, Michelin is going to become the tire sponsor in 2019.

Just goes to show you that drinking and driving really do not go together well.
But driving then drinking go very well together. Sad to see them go. Ed Brown and crew were always great in the paddock.
Trying not to flounder, but Tequila is generally a Mexican product, IMSA is American... Has anybody watched the news lately?
No idea at all if there is any substance to my musings. Possibility, though.
