I am not a fan of run flats and the resulting lack of a spare tire. Look forward to GRM's opinion on the run flats and/or the swap to conventional tires. i run a rim/tire combo from Tirerack for a spare in my E46 M3. Conventional tires but no spare as part of the M package. Had 2 flats in 2 weeks after the locals mowed the highways and slung debris on the road last Spring. BMW has bought in to the Run flats despite the unsprung weight, cost of replacement, etc. Have ya'll felt the side wall stiffness on those tires? It is insane. Curious how GRM will handle this. Plus one on the run flats could be brutal on the ride compliance.
Keep us posted on the Oil Temp issues. Those twin turbos will cook that oil.
