Perhaps the only good thing about waiting far too long to get 35mm film developed is that you end up almost entirely forgetting what’s on the rolls, making that moment when you do look at the developed photos that much more entertaining.

Pretty rad, Colin, pretty rad.
This is the post that will get me to finally pick up some film for my 35mm and start shooting film again.
In reply to David S. Wallens :
Thanks. Not sure how much I enjoy shooting black and white, but I might not have found the right film yet.
In reply to ChrisTropea :

In reply to Colin Wood :
What film(s) did you use? I like your photos.
In reply to pres589 (djronnebaum) :
Kentmere Pan 400. I think it goes for less than $10 a roll.
In reply to Colin Wood :
I don't mind the overall look of that Kentmere film - I shot a fair bit of it years ago - but it has some odd color responses that make some shots look a little muddy. Try some filters and see if you're happier with the results. My go-tos are green and orange, but you need to experiment and see what works for you.

i wish i hadn't given away my K-1000 kit back in the day (1993). gave it to a family friend, a younger guy who loved photography but didn't have money for lenses etc. berkeleyer pawned it the next week.

What the duece is with everybody talking about K-1000's around here? I never thought you'd be out here following a fad.
(kidding, please know I'm kidding)
In reply to pres589 (djronnebaum) :
i was cool back when it was cool to be cool. the K-1000 was the first nice thing i ever bought myself, back in 1985.
