I'm liking the Flyin' Miata sport package. How much is a set of clean MSM wheels worth?

What's the sport package?
Not sure on what the wheels are really worth. Haven't seen many sets listed, but the few i've seen were listed around $350-$450 range. Don't remember them actually selling, though.

It's a 15x7.5, just a bit wider than the more common 15x7 but gives more support for the tire sidewall. It combines a good 13.2 lb weight with a very low price. The tire is the most excellent (deep breath) Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 Star Spec in a 205/50-15. We usually just call them Star Specs. It's our favorite high performance true street tire. The wheels are available in bright silver (shown), light grey and black.
Oh... the wheel/tire setup, my bad.
The hot setup right now is a 15x9 with the 225/45-15 RS3s on 'em. However, i think the next gen of tires is coming soon.
There's a replacement for the Star Spec on the way, I know that. And those wheel/tire packages on our site are only examples, we can put together anything Tire Rack sells - but you won't have to convince us that it is possible to put 15" wheels on a MSM
We've sold MSM wheels for $600-800/set with tires through our salvage operation. FYI.
I like the 15x8 a bit more than the 15x9 for street use with the 225 tires. A bit more sidewall flex means more compliance - not necessarily what you want on the track, but it helps on the street's rougher surface. And honestly, I like the way it looks. It also protects the wheel face better and you have the option of running a 205/50-15 if you want as there really aren't many tire options in 225/45-15.

Is it wrong that I want Keith to make one of those calendars that tells you something everyday? That's kinda what it's like every time I read one of you posts.

I'm sure there will be discounts, and that the popular sizes will last about 5 minutes at those discounted prices...
Star Spec inventory is awfully low right now, discounts may not be necessary. There's another thread discussing the tire on the board.
Go ahead and bung a boost controller on there. You'll find that the stock intake restricts the turbo enough that you can't really increase the boost much, so it won't be super-effective. The stock ECU won't have a problem with any boost the stock turbo makes, it will throw in a protective fuel cut when it reaches the limits of the injectors at around 10 psi.
This thread makes me miss my MSM.
It looks like your car has a cloth top, so it should have leather interior, no?
rotard wrote: Yeah, it's the leather interior. It's pretty comfortable, to me.
Lucky... someone went through the trouble to swap all the leather bits into mine... but then left the E36 M3ty vinyl top.
