First off, no, I didn't get a photo. But while in New York this weekend, I saw a full-on "Back to the Future" DeLorean out and about. I want to say it was on 2nd Ave. in the upper 80s. Oddly at the moment I was with friends from high school--and we were probably discussing the '80s at the time.
Not far from there is an older person, I usually see them on York in the 70's, with a brown Aston Martin similar to this:

Been seeing a new red Mercedes SLS every day on the way home from work. Dealer plate. Saw an Espada the other day... In another month more hardware will be coming out of the woodwork.

I saw a peugeot 505 diesel on the back of a truck headed to pick n pull. I was jealous!
In one day i saw:
Chrome Bumper MGB
Bugeye sprite
57 Chevy
Mercedes 190e 2.3-16
I also saw a Maserati GT, several nice w126 SEC mercedes, and I know there are a few others im missing.

In the summers when I worked at the golf course, an average day would have at least one of the following: Defender 90, Jag E type, Maserati somethin or other, Z8, Ferrari, Lotus, 64 Corvette convertible, 67 MGB, 64 Austin Healey...

My son works on 2nd Ave betrween 44th and 45th; he tells me some car magazine or TV program moved into a building up the street. Since then he's seen all kinds of weird, exotic and fast machinery around.
Who was it that did a story on Lamborghinis and big Jags painted up and used as NYC Taxis? Those guys.
Dan
Edit in:
I talked to my kid who is working in D.C. for a few weeks; the cars were for Top Gear USA. The History Channel has a garage around the corner where the cars were kept.
I don't know what model it is, but there is a guy who lIves outside of my town (way out in the country) who has a 60s Ferrari coupe. If I'm outside, I can always hear him coming. It has to have a V12, it sounds so different.
Working in Boston now I tend to see a lot of European luxury/sports cars. Various 911s, BMW Ms, Audi RSs, a good amount of Godzilla GTRs (which I still don't care for) are pretty much a daily thing. I saw a Defender 90 the other morning & thought that was the coolest yet.

A few times a month, when I work late, there is a Ferrari BBi on the Broadway extension in Edmond OK. Red over black, all original with those tiny little 15s and giant sidewalls. It is immaculate, it's one of those "turn off the radio an roll down the window" moments. Totally makes my evening.
One of the most surreal things I've ever seen:
It was about 3 AM of the the night I asked my wife out, so that was 14 years ago or so. I saw a Good Humor ice cream truck being followed in anger through the streets of downtown Raleigh by the Oscar Myer Wiener mobile.

I met a guy at a traffic light last Sunday driving a 1919 Buick. He is the third owner.
The last two weeks have been good for Fantasy cars.
I heard this one before I saw it, the dude was really getting on it.
Saw one of these yesterday, I had forgotten how wide they are:
Saw a dark red one of these last Thursday, the first one I have seen in the wild:
I have seen one of these on my way to work for the last week or so. I was never a fan of the Z4 but the M coupe looks nice.
Farmer around me drives a brown Rolls Royce. That's an interesting one to see.
Very old couple tool around in an beautiful old red Corvette convertible. Whats especially nice is he drives it like he used to race it. He's comfortable with the car, like he's always owned it. They're alway grinning. Really nice to watch.
So, was this Delorean decked out with all the Back to the Future added on bits and pieces, or was it just a regular one?

I happened to see a Weinermobile sitting in a hotel parking lot a few blocks from my office last Thursday.
Seeing GTRs around here is a semi-regular occurrence.
Other day I saw an F360 following a Testarossa.
Oddly, the most excited I've been was about 6 months ago when I pulled up next to a BMW 760. I've never liked anything bigger than a 3-series, but that thing just oozed power. Power and V12 noises. Mostly it was the V12 noises that got me.
That, or the beat-up-but-not-in-a-dorifto-kinda-way Hachi that I see regularly in my chiro's parking lot. I get HELLA jealous every time I see it, and it really irritates me that I'll almost certainly never have another one.
Damnit, now I'm all depressed. Thanks guys.
My buddy has a Z4 coupe. Not an M, but a pretty sweet car.

What's the rush? Sooner or later we all end up in the back of a truck headed to pick n pull
I can't remember the last time I saw a Pacer out in the wild so to speak. This one looked to be in decent driver shape too.
Sunflower seeds, lotion and duct tape - interesting combination! Funky pattern on the interior seats and doors too.
I see a Porsche Panamera every other day or so on my way home from work. There is a Defender 90 in my neighborhood that I see often.
As I remember, Pacers (and other AMC) cars had various designer interiors available - Pierre Cardin, Bill Blass, that sort of thing. My sister bought a new Levis Gremlin back in the day.

You know, I finally saw one of those in person. They're still ugly, but much better in the flesh.
Hardly a day goes by now that I don't see a Porsche Cayanne. It makes me sad... Porsche used to be a sports car company. Porsche's plan now is to build 200,000 cars a year by 2018, 3/4 of which will be sedans and SUV's built on platforms shared with Volkswagen's other brands.
In reply to ArthurDent:
Funny you should mention the Pacer: I saw a glorious, full-'70s gold with plaid interior, immaculate one tooling down Rt. 1 on the way to the grocery store last weekend. I damn near drove off the road looking at it, and went a couple blocks beyond my destination just to enjoy it a bit longer. Is it wrong to say I want one?

Saw a 90's escort converted to a truck. Like an El Camino.
