I see some expensive machines running around state college; porsches, audi r8, amg sls, etc.
But these are the two I enjoy seeing most

I live in a college town. Someone I'd presume to be a student drives a perfect brown Maverick. It is odd.
Spotted a very pretty BRG 914 today, sounded very healthy and rear tires extended past the fender line.
I used to see Cincinnati's own billionare Carl Linder driving around in his convertible bentley, not long ago I saw a porsche 550 replica driving down my street which is pretty weird.
This afternoon I actually saw one of these dodging through traffic:
Not something I expected to find out and about. The white-haired older gentleman at the wheel^H^H^H^H^H handlebars was grinning like a kid in a candy store while stopped at a light amid a sea of black & silver Audis. I almost got a photo but I was on the opposite side of the road and a truck pulled up beside him as he was leaving the light. By the time I got a clear view again he was too far away for my lowly cell phone camera. He was wringing that little 50cc 2-stroke out like nobody's business just to keep up; it... wasn't quick. But it was awesome.
I used to love seeing C5 and C6 Corvettes in Germany, it was a very, "America, berkeley yeah!" sensation.
They were fairly common too.

what kind of gearing are these guys running? With stock Regal gear ratio this thing wouldn't even be able to climb a modest incline.

I lived in Italy a couple years ago and when the dollar got weak against the Euro the C6 Vettes actually got quite common. Well, common for a performance car. I once even saw a C3 with sidepipes in Florence.
Had to do some searching on the internetz, but finally found a photo of the Trojan Monte Carlo running around town. I figured someone had to have captured it. Last time I saw it up close was gassing up at a Racetrac, and there was quite a crowd, so this photo could even be from then.

Good point, lol - I have no idea. They're not exactly known for their speed. I have been getting curious about what's involved in modifying one those. The usual seems to be minimal mechanical and maximum cosmetic though. Whatever, they're fun to see around. More interesting than beige camrys at least.

These aren't as cheap or plentiful; too much work to round up for a rolling joke.
Yeah, F450 crew cab. Guy driving it was all of 5'2".
Saw this at a gas station near Deal's Gap, when we stopped for beer (place we were staying at was in a dry county). It had a working GB siren and speakers spewing the Ghostbusters theme song.
The other day I saw a silver Volvo wagon with purple flames covering the entire front end.... being driven by a clown.

This should have been the Trojan car right here ^^
The driver is a complete RICHARD
Sorry about the crappy pic, but it was in a parking structure, so the flash made it hard to get a good shot. Yes, that says HOON3.

I was right. I saw a Mercedes SLS as I was leaving the valet in my filthy Montero
