Too new?
Probably, but berkeley it, I miss my truck. It was also a 4.3L, so I lose on all counts. It was plenty 'heavy duty' enough to tow a 1500 lb. civic while getting decent gas mileage though, which is all I needed.

No, but the PO did. $1500 well spent. It towed straight as an arrow. Plenty of torque. 16-18 MPG towing with the A/C cranked.
In reply to 914Driver: What vehicle is the rear bumper from on your old Dodge ? It's a nice, simple detail.
Not a pickup, but definitely heavy duty. This is my dads 1947 Chevy one-ton panel truck. The original owner (my dad is the third owner, and has met the grandson of the of the original) ordered it in 1939 and received it in 1947. This pic has my Miata in the foreground , which shows just how big this truck is.
Here are the two workhorses in my extended fleet. The 1500 has about a ton of 1/2" gravel in the bed, hence the stance.
You can see my Ram in this pic.
Its only a 1/2 ton, but it has had tractors, boats and the like behind it for its entire life. Anything I have won't phase it.
Cool 'ol girl.

These look so much older than a 92 to me. Like something that should be a 1985ish at the newest.
